I don't really have much of a story in the purchase of my Z. Kind of just fell in love with the pure beauty of the Z when I saw a black 94NA in a parking lot out in Altoona, PA (even if it had a crappy double decker wing - hey, I like the overall looks minus the wing of course). What I found interesting is when I brought up my interest in obtaining a 300ZX with my mother (she does pay a 1/3 of the overall car cost and insurance). She tells me that I sort of have a history with the Z in my family. Turns out my father had both a 240Z (5 spd) and 280Z (auto). He loved both of these cars. My mohter had a 260, which she claims was a great car....when it ran fine. Now, I continue the Z heritage with the 300ZX. Just something to add to this post
